With a distinctive arsenal of two saxophones, drums &amp; laptop, guitar and electronic gadgets, the quartet transplants traditional jazz instruments into an avant-garde setting.<\/p>\n<p>Following a refreshing, sometimes brazen and vibrantly disjointed approach, Sc&#8217;\u00f6\u00f6f build bridges between jazz and various popular music styles such as dub, breakbeat, hip-hop, noise and punk. They create an odd yet compelling mixture that has sometimes been referred to as \u201cacoustic glitch music\u201d.
