Studio AA and Studio Kruh<\/strong> are the brains behind the visual identity of the last two Jazz Festival Ljubljana editions \u2013 the two creative teams joined forces this year to create the visual identity of the 66th<\/strong> Jazz<\/strong> Festival Ljubljana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, Studio AA \u2013 the Anja Delbello and Alja\u017e Vesel<\/strong> design duo \u2013 has recently garnered international praise. Their publication Stripburger 30: Dirty Thirty<\/em> won the main prize of the expert jury at the 13th ZGRAF Graphic Design Exhibition in Zagreb<\/strong> \u2013 the first such award for Slovenian design in the history of this prestigious event. An important milestone for Studio AA, but also an important indication of the increasing visibility of the local design scene. “A defining moment for both our Studio and the Slovenian design in general,” comments Alja\u017e Vesel \u2013 and we wholeheartedly agree.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Grand Prix, Studio AA also received a Special Jury Mention for the project Skupno v skupnosti<\/em> (The Common in Community), Slovenia’s\u00a0contribution to the\u00a017th Venice Architecture Biennale\u00a0in 2021.<\/p>\n

We are also pleased to highlight another important success of Slovenian visual design: the AICA Prize<\/strong>, presented by the Croatian Section of the International Association of Art Critics, was awarded to the visual identity of the 2020 Documentary Film Festival created by Studio Kruh<\/strong> for Cankarjev dom.<\/p>\n
